Yuan Rung Hospital's intelligent medical order system wins award, allowing doctors to spend more time with patients
The Ministry of Health and Welfare recently held the first "Taiwan 50 Excellent SMART Application Awards Ceremony and SMART SUMMIT International Forum." The awards were jointly presented by Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Chuang Jen-hsiang, Director-General of the National Health Insurance Administration Chen Liang-yu, Director of the Department of Information Technology of the Ministry of Health and Welfare Lee Chien-chang, and the founder of the SMART on FHIR standard and Harvard Medical School Professor Kenneth D. Mandl. Fifty smart healthcare applications were selected from 115 entries nationwide. Yuan Rung Medical Corporation's Yuan Rung Hospital stood out with its self-developed "Artificial Prescribing and Ordering Engine" (APOE), becoming one of the outstanding applications to win this award. It was the only one of the 360 regional hospitals in Taiwan to receive the award, demonstrating Yuan Rung's innovative energy and practical strength in the field of smart healthcare.
