The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited professionals from 21 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa to Taiwan on the 11th to participate in the "Smart Healthcare AI Application Workshop" and visit the Yuan Rung Healthcare System, gaining an in-depth understanding of the successful experience of AI artificial intelligence application in the medical field. Yuan Rung Healthcare SystemCHANG KO SHINSuperintendent General stated that in recent years, the Yuan Rung system has actively introduced various smart technologies, including an AI CT low-dose lung cancer screening assisted interpretation system, which has significantly improved interpretation efficiency and accuracy, with over 20,000 cases performed to date. It also applies DeepMets MRI artificial intelligence software to accurately detect tumors metastasized to the brain, and also uses AR (Augmented Reality) smart glasses to remotely guide Mongolian doctors, located 3,000 kilometers away and wearing AR glasses, in performing surgeries.

This visit is not only an exchange of medical expertise but also an important bridge to deepen the friendship between Taiwan and international friends.
