The award ceremony was held on the 24th at the Ministry of Health and Welfare, with former Minister of Health Lin Zoutian presenting the award to Yuanrong General Hospital Director Zhang Kesh, thanking Yuanrong Medical System for their contributions. The organizer, the International Medical Health Promotion Association, praised Director Zhang Kesh for his dedication to medical diplomacy, allowing the world to see Taiwan.

Benefiting hundreds of patients and assisting critically ill patients to seek medical treatment in Taiwan
The international medical team of Yuanrong Medical System's Yuanrong Hospital recently held five free clinics at four hospitals in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, benefiting hundreds of Mongolian patients, mainly in orthopedics, thoracic, and general surgery. Some patients with severe symptoms are being considered for treatment in Taiwan.
Due to air pollution issues in Mongolia, there are many lung cancer patients. The local nomadic industry is developed, leading to frequent accidents requiring orthopedic and surgical doctors. This medical team includes thoracic, orthopedic, and family medicine doctors from Yuanrong Medical System, as well as general surgeons from Tri-Service General Hospital and pediatric cancer doctors from Taichung Veterans General Hospital.
Mongolian Man with Lung Adenocarcinoma Yuanrong Hospital Extends a Helping Hand
Mongolian man Batas, who had a persistent cough, was diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma. He was introduced to Yuanrong Hospital in September, where Deputy Director of Medicine and Thoracic Medicine Dr. Tu Chuanzhou used next-generation gene testing to find suitable targeted drugs. Within a month, the tumor shrank by half, and his chest tightness and cough were completely relieved, allowing him to happily return to Mongolia with his wife.
Batas, 38, worked as a driver at a mine, inhaling large amounts of dust, leading to worsening breathing difficulties. Deputy Director Tu Chuanzhou said that upon Batas's arrival at Yuanrong, he was diagnosed with stage III approaching stage IV lung cancer. As Batas is the economic pillar of his family, with two children, his recovery brought great joy to the couple.
