If patients need to be transferred due to their condition, Taichung Veterans General Hospital will take over. President Fu pointed out that the Taichung Veterans General Hospital Proton Therapy Center has been completed and will be put into use next year. The Sumitomo third-generation proton therapy equipment used in the center is one of the most advanced proton systems in the world. In addition, there are three "Asian first" high-end positioning and navigation systems. Proton therapy has the advantages of high precision and low side effects, and it has the opportunity to bring better treatment options for patients with childhood cancer, brain tumors, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, and some recurrent tumors. After the center is put into use, it is expected to become an important base for international medical care and high-end cancer precision treatment.
In line with the New Southbound Policy, Continue to Expand Cross-Border Training and Exchanges
Yuan Rung President Chang Ke-Shih said that Yuan Rung has been fully cooperating with the government's New Southbound Policy in recent years and has signed a cooperation agreement with an Indonesian hospital.
